Where to eat truffles in Paris? When reading the word truffle the first thing that comes to mind is something expensive, prestigious. If the word appears on the menu of a restaurant, we immediately expect a dish costing at least 55 euros. This stereotype is not entirely wrong, truffle is a rare and glamorous ingredient.
But to the delight of many, there is a truffle restaurant in Paris that promises to quench the hunger, desire and curiosity of those who wish to taste the coveted truffles for the first time. L’Artisan de la Truffe is a place that offers truffle dishes and snacks with local bistro prices.
On the menu there are classics such as the divine truffle burrata and the delicious “pizzetta con trufa”, ideal to be shared as a starter.
Dishes such as the tagliatelle with truffles, truffle croque monsieur, Caesar salad with ‘a la truffe’ chicken breast among others. In each dish the truffle is invited to join, and with panache.
The desserts certainly could not be left out: fruit salad with truffle syrup. Crème brûlée with truffle praline and the amazing cream cheese with walnuts and truffle honey.
How much?
22 euros the lunch menu (tagliatelle with truffle or truffle croque monsieur + coffee or tea and small sweets). Count 15 to 19 euros for each starter, 16 to 35 euros for the dishes and 6 to 12 euros for the dessert.
