Currently, some luxury brands are opening restaurants around the world. They aim to build a complete experience for their customers. To provide un unique dinning experience that matches the level of the products they are selling, they often make collaborations with the world’s best chefs.
Armani has 13 restaurants and cafes and even a Nobu restaurant in one of its main shops in the heart of Milan (Nobu is one of the most recognized Japanese restaurant in the world, a place to visit before you die).
“I’ve always wanted to create a complete Armani lifestyle that reflects my ideas and could be applied in different areas, not just in fashion.” Gastronomy seemed a logical expansion, “says Giorgio Armani.
Ralph Lauren has 3 restaurants in Paris, New York and Chicago. All of them are elegant and an expression of the brand’s DNA.
Chanel, of course, has associated its brand with an icon of French cuisine, Alain Ducasse, chef who has accumulated 21 Michelin stars throughout his career.
From this union was born the restaurant Beige Alain Ducasse, in Tokyo. It is called that way because beige (biege) was Coco Chanel’s favorite color.
On special occasions customers can eat cakes inspired by the products of the legendary French fashion brand, such as caramel and Chanel cake lipstick (price: US$120 each).
Cavalli has clubs in Dubai and Milan and also cafes in Florence, St. Tropez, Kuwait, Delhi and Beirut.
Porsche proposes to its fans a gourmet restaurant in Stuttgart (which includes mini models of cars on the table …)
The list does not stop there, Gucci, Bulgari, Vivienne Westwood also launched their own restaurants.
